Nationals has a new home. The tournament has been previously held at Indian Wells, California, but the USAP and PPA Tour announced that its officially being moved to Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas. The USA Pickleball still owns the tournament, but this year, they have given the controls of the event to PPA. They are confident that the success that PPA has had in throwing fun and professional tournaments for the players and the fans will carry over to put on the largest and best Nationals in the history of the sport.
This year, the tournament is expecting more than 3500 players, both amateur and professionals to be played on November 4-12. For the amateurs, there have been qualifying tournaments being held all across the country with winners getting a Golden Ticket, which is their automatic entry into Nationals. Not only will there be highly competitive pickleball being played, but there will also be live music, a ton of food, beverages and other family-friendly exhibits.
